The Stick of Truth is a mythic item from South Park: The Stick of Truth with limitless power that has made its way into Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1. Its strength has carried across games as it quite literally has the ability to warp the game around itself.
As part of a Born in Chaos quest, you'll need to obtain the Stick of Truth and use it. Unfortunately, the stick is one of the most difficult items to get your hands on as it's not guaranteed to spawn every game and, when it does spawn, there's a limited supply.
Here's how to get the Stick of Truth in Fortnite and what it does.
The Stick of Truth will only spawn after the during the Stick of Truth rift anomaly, which has a chance to occur after the third Storm Circle closes. If you're lucky, it'll spawn in your first game, but the rift anomaly does seem to be fairly rare. It took us four games for the Stick of Truth to spawn for the first time, so it could take multiple games until it appears in your game.
Once the Stick of Truth rift anomaly occurs, open your map to look for a stick icon on your map. As you approach it, you'll find a pedestal with a red pillow and the Stick of Truth on top of it.
If you were able to grab the stick before anyone else, you're able to harness its limitless power and force the final circle to close on your position. Once you use it, the circle will start to come in, and it will close after about three and a half minutes. If you're just looking to complete the quest, it's best to use it immediately before someone eliminates you.
However, if you're looking to win, it's best to hold off until you find an advantageous position, as everyone will have to come to you.
